What day is Six Flags the least crowded? ›

Weekdays in April, May, September, October, November, and December are typically the least busy days. Always research for special events that may be going on that can cause abnormally large crowds (the park is reliably busy during spring break).

Children two years old and younger receive free admission to Six Flags Great Adventure & Wild Safari and Hurricane Harbor. A guest does not need a season pass until they turn three years old. Once your child is three years old, the price would be the same as the other passes.

October. Columbus Day Weekend – The three-day weekend attracts big crowds to the park. Be prepared for long lines. Fright Fest – Fright Fest takes over for the Halloween season on Fridays and the weekends in October.

May I bring my own food and beverages into Six Flags Over Texas? No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed to be brought into Six Flags Over Texas. However, we do offer picnic areas just outside the park which are available for your party to eat outside food.

There are certain weather circ*mstances that may cause the entire park to close earlier than scheduled or not open at all. If rain, wind or electrical storms force us to close certain rides for your safety, they will re-open as soon as safe operations can be assured.

Coolers, Food, and Drinks

The Six Flags food policy is crystal clear. No food, beverages, or coolers may be brought into the park. If you bring your lunch in a bag or cooler to save money, you'll have to use the picnic area in the parking lot.

Plan to visit when attendance is lightest. Best bets: weekdays during the summer and any regular operating day during the months of May and September.
