Can you do healthstreams at home? ›

HealthStream is mainly used by healthcare organizations, medical device companies, and pharmaceutical companies. How do I access HealthStream from home? To access HealthStream from a home network, users can go to the URL provided by the administrator and log in to the HealthStream portal.

Welcome to HealthStream. For your initial log-in, please use your Facility code followed by your employee # as your User ID and password. You will then be prompted to choose a new, unique, password. Create new password as directed, save and enter a password reminder for future reference.

If you are having trouble logging in, click "Forgot Your Password." Enter your User ID and click Submit (don't enter anything in the email field). If you have an email associated with your account, you will receive a system-generated email with a link to reset your password.

The way healthcare was intended

HCA Healthcare founders Dr. Thomas Frist Sr., Dr. Thomas Frist Jr. and Jack Massey envisioned a healthcare company with the scale, resources and clinical expertise to provide care focused on the patient. In 1968, they formed Hospital Corporation of America (HCA).

Use of the following ways to access the HLC: Open Internet Explorer and type the web address (also called a URL) provided by your administrator (for example: www.healthstream.com/hlc/FacilityName). You may have an HLC icon on your PC desktop or your institution's intranet. If so, double-click the HLC icon.

Passwords must be eight (8) or more characters in length. Passwords must include a combination of all of the following four characteristics: upper case, lower case, numeric and non-alpha numeric special symbols (!,#,$,% are all examples of this). Password reminders cannot contain the password.

Upon course completion, the system will total the estimated completion times entered for each learning activity that was completed within the course and will display an estimated time for the completed course on the student transcript.

Your hStream ID is the account you use to access applications within the HealthStream ecosystem, like the new Resuscitation Skills mobile app. It includes the email address, phone number, and password you use to sign in and stores your security and contact details.

How do I unlock my HealthStream account? ›

Forgot your password? Use the forgot password link above, BEFORE contacting a HealthStream Administrator. If you are locked out (after 3 failed attempts), you will be locked out for 15 minutes before you can try again. Please use the Forgot Password link if you cannot remember you password.

HealthStream offers Customer Service Support 800-521-0574 or customer.service@healthstream.com from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. CST (holidays excluded).

You need to use your 3-4 ID (HCA network ID) and network password to log in. If you do not know your 3-4 ID and password, please contact your facility's Security Coordinator or IT help desk. After you log in, the HCAhrAnswers portal page displays. Use the portal as needed.

Type https://remote.vdi.medcity.net into the URL field. Click OK. The HCA Portal must be manually saved as a favorite in your browser or on your desktop. If you just add the website to your favorites or save the link when you visit, you will have issues logging in.
